Terms of Service

Homebase lets you create personal AI agents that connect to third-party services you authorize (such as Gmail, Outlook, Google Calendar, Google Drive, Slack, and Notion) to help you read, summarize, draft, schedule, and search content on your behalf, based on your instructions.

Homebase agents act with your review and approval, not autonomously on your behalf, for any action that sends, deletes, or shares content on a connected service, unless you have explicitly configured and consented to a specific automated action.

You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of legal majority in your jurisdiction, to create a Homebase account. By using Homebase, you represent that you meet this requirement and that you have the authority to connect any third-party account you link to Homebase.

• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.
• You must provide accurate information when creating your account.
• You may delete your account at any time from the Account page in the app; doing so permanently deletes your profile and associated data, as described in our Privacy Policy.
• We may suspend or terminate your account if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms, misused the service, or created risk or legal exposure for us or others.

• When you connect a third-party service (e.g., Google, Microsoft, Slack, Notion) to Homebase, you authorize us to access the specific data described in our Privacy Policy, solely to provide the features you use.
• You control what is connected. You may disconnect any service at any time, which immediately deletes the associated stored credentials from our systems, as described in our Privacy Policy.
• Your use of each connected third-party service remains subject to that provider's own terms of service. Homebase is not responsible for the availability, security, or content of third-party services.
• We do not have the ability to send email, delete data, or take irreversible action on a connected service without your explicit review and approval, except where you have specifically configured an automated action and consented to it.

You agree not to use Homebase to:

• Violate any applicable law or regulation.
• Access, or attempt to access, any account or data you are not authorized to access.
• Use Homebase to send unsolicited bulk communications (spam), phishing content, or malicious content.
• Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of Homebase or any connected third-party service.
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of Homebase, except as permitted by law.
• Use Homebase to build a competing product or service without our prior written consent.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access for any use that violates this section.

Homebase uses artificial intelligence to generate summaries, drafts, and other content based on your instructions and the data you've authorized us to access. AI-generated content may contain errors or inaccuracies.

• You are responsible for reviewing any AI-generated content before acting on it — including, but not limited to, reviewing email drafts before sending, and calendar events before confirming.
• Homebase is a tool to assist you, not a substitute for your own judgment, especially for content with legal, financial, medical, or other significant consequences.

• Homebase, including its software, design, and branding, is owned by Base Labs LLC and is protected by intellectual property laws. These Terms do not grant you any ownership rights in Homebase.
• You retain ownership of the content and data you connect to or create through Homebase (e.g., your emails, calendar events, and files). You grant us a limited license to access and process that content solely to provide the Homebase service to you, as described in our Privacy Policy.

Certain features of Homebase may require payment of a subscription fee, as described at the time of purchase. Fees are non-refundable except as required by law or as otherwise stated at the time of purchase. We may change our pricing with reasonable advance notice.

HOMEBASE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE,” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT HOMEBASE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR SECURE, OR THAT AI-GENERATED CONTENT WILL BE ACCURATE OR COMPLETE.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, BASE LABS LLC AND ITS OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF HOMEBASE, EVEN IF WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING FROM THESE TERMS OR YOUR USE OF HOMEBASE WILL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US, IF ANY, IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations of liability, so some of the above limitations may not apply to you.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Base Labs LLC from any claims, damages, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from your use of Homebase, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any third party's rights.

We may modify or discontinue any part of Homebase at any time. We may update these Terms from time to time; material changes will be communicated through the app or by email, and continued use of Homebase after such changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

You may stop using Homebase and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access to Homebase at our discretion, including for violation of these Terms, with or without notice, to the extent permitted by law.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to its conflict of law principles, except as otherwise required by applicable law.
